The Swedish Swimming Federation and Södertälje SS are pleased to invite you to

The Nordic Junior Swimming Championships 2008
Girls born 1993-94 - Boys born 1991-92

Date and Place:
The championships will take place from December 6th - December 7th 2008 in Södertälje - situated 30km south of Stockholm.

The pool is 25 metres and has 8 lanes. There will be electronic timekeeping (Omega).

Invited Nations:
Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Faroe Islands and Sweden

The Competition:
Session 1: Saturday 6th Starting time: 09.00
Session 2: Saturday 6th Starting time: 17.00
Session 3: Sunday 7th Starting time: 09.00

Warm up 1½ hour before the start of the session. Training will be possible in the competition pool on Friday the 5th of December from 13.00 to 21.00 Please contact us if more training time is needed.

Technical meeting:
The technical meeting will be held Friday the 5th at 21.00 at the hotel.
Changes in the starting list can be made until 1½ hours before each session.

Entries:
Each nation may enter with 2 swimmers in each individual event and on team in the relay events.
Attached you will find the preliminary and final entry forms for girls and boys.

The preliminary entry form must reach us no later than the 15th of October 2008.

If the preliminary entry form is not received by this date, the federations will be responsible for their own accommodation.

The organiser must receive the final (individual) entries by the 1st of December 2008.
The individual entries must include name, year of birth and best times.

Accommodation:
We have arranged accommodation at Quality Hotel Park www.parkhotell.com

Costs includes, full pension from Friday dinner to Sunday lunch including Swimmers Party on Saturday evening and transportation from either Skavsta or Arlanda airport or with ferries from Stadgårdskajen or Värtahamnen in Stockholm.

Single rooms: 1000 SEK per night and person (850 SEK without transportation).
Double rooms: 850 SEK per night and person (700 SEK without transportation).

The hotel offers 45 doublerooms and 60 singlerooms. Early booking offers you better choices for your accommodations.

50 % of the amount must be paid in advance - deadline Friday the 10th of October 2008 when making you preliminary hotel reservation to:

Your final reservation is to be made Friday the 28th of November 2008. Södertälje Simsällskap will send you the bill for the rest of the amount, after the end of competiotion. 15 days credit.

Transportation:
The local organizer (Södertälje SS) will be responsible for the transport (included as above). There is no need for transportation between the hotel and swimming pool, walking distance 8 minutes.
